略歴

島袋道浩
しまぶく みちひろ(美術家)

1969年、神戸市生まれ。那覇市在住。
1990年代初頭より世界中の多くの場所を旅しながら、そこに生きる人々の生活や新しいコミュニケーションのあり方に関するパフォーマンスやインスタレーション作品などを制作している。
パリのポンピドー・センター、ロンドンのヘイワード・ギャラリーなどでのグループ展や03年ヴェニス・ビエンナーレ、06年サンパウロ・ビエンナーレなどの国際展に多数参加。
